Our "Mayor" Jay Zandell
Jay obtained his high school diploma while serving in the United States Marine Corps and, after being honorably discharged, he followed his father's path to pursue his passion for geology at the University of Kansas. Upon graduation, like many geologists of that era, Jay was swiftly integrated into the burgeoning environmental sector, leveraging his broad skill set to support the nascent industry. His journey in environmental consulting evolved when he collaborated with peers to establish a DPT and onsite analytical firm in Kansas. Preferring warmer climates, Jay relocated to Arizona in 1996 to advance his career in environmental consulting and remediation. With these accumulated experiences, he established Vikynz, ultimately realizing his vision and burning desire to support everyone and the only environment we have.
